The Refugio Creek Watershed Vision Plan (7.3 MB PDF) has been developed through a series of community meetings whereby members of the public met with local officials and experts to share information, interests, concerns, and design ideas on topics such as:

  • Wetlands & Water Quality
  • Fish & Wildlife
  • Flood Management
  • Creek Bank Stability
  • Recreation & Access
  • Parkway Enhancement

The plan is community based, respectful of private property rights, involves only voluntary actions, and represents consensus views.

This project has been generously supported by the non-profit organization Common Sense California and facilitated by Restoration Design Group, a environmental landscape consulting firm specializing in watershed planning and public participation.
