Tiffany Grimsley was elected to the Hercules City Council in November 2020.

Council Member Grimsley is a Bay Area native who, along with her husband and 3 children, made Hercules their home in 2013.

As a resident of Hercules, Grimsley has served as a parent volunteer in Hercules schools, is a former member of the School Site Council at Lupine Hills Elementary School, and has been an active member of the Hercules community.

Throughout her professional career, Grimsley has been committed to equity, opportunity, access, and communication. At UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business where she served as Assistant Director for Full-time MBA Admissions, Grimsley managed diversity and international recruitment and yield efforts through outreach efforts, spanning across the globe, and partnership with organizations such as the Forte Foundation, MLT (Management Leadership 4 Tomorrow), NSHMBA (National Society for Hispanic MBA) and NBMBAA (National Black MBA Association). Since leaving UC Berkeley in 2013, Grimsley has served in other community and access-based roles in private and non-profit organizations, and is currently an Admissions Consultant, assisting prospective undergraduate and graduate students in navigating the application and admissions processes for colleges and universities.

Grimsley brings to the City Council her passion for community, access, and opportunity, as well as her commitment to the people and the city of Hercules. Council Member Grimsley will focus on driving a growing sense of community, including more opportunities for community-based involvement, issues of safety and security for all residents, protecting our environment, and will work collaboratively with fellow council members to ensure our fiscal future.
