The Hercules Parks and Recreation Department is holding it’s 2nd annual PUMPKATAAZ Contest on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Hercules Community Swim Center. To vote, you must attend the Trunk or Treat event. PUMPKATAAZ is a FREE, FUN, and SAFE event for our community. PUMPKATAAZ participants may decorate, draw, paint, carve, sculpt, etc, a pumpkin of any size/shape, and enter to win Fab-BOO-lous prizes in 3 categories: JACK O’LANTERN, HEADLESS HORSEMAN or GREAT PUMPKIN. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

REGISTER:  Complete the registration form and submit it to the Hercules Parks & Recreation Department.  All Entries MUST…

• Pre-register with the Hercules Parks & Rec Department, by Thursday, 10/19/23 (complete this form).
• Deliver entry to the Community Swim Center between 8:30a-5:30p on Thursday, 10/26/23.
• Select a category for competition (category’s are: Family, Business/Team, or Individual)
• Give your design a name, complete the *pumpkin place mat to help voters identify your entry.
• NO electricity, NO open flames: battery operated lights are allowed.

* Any/all photos taken may be used by the Hercules Parks & Rec Department for promotional purposes.
* Place mats will be provided after registering for the event. 

DONATE PUMPKINS:  To donate Pumpkins, or money (to purchase pumpkins for our Preschool, RAP and Teen programs), please contact the Hercules Parks and Recreation Department at (510) 441-4FUN (4386).
