The City of Hercules is seeking community input on the future development of a vacant site along the western shore of Hercules. This vacant site is comprised of Blocks ABCD (aka “The Heights” or “The Bowl”) of the Waterfront District Master Plan.
Ledcor, a residential developer and also the developer of “The Village” in the Bayfront project, has submitted an initial development proposal for Blocks ABCD. The development proposal includes a mostly residential community with 142 residential townhouses, parks, and some mixed use. However, the proposal does not align with the design and development regulations from the form-based code of the City’s Waterfront District Master Plan (WDMP).
You are invited to attend this in-person forum community workshop to learn more about Ledcor’s Proposal and background on the Waterfront District Master Plan and its planning process. (A similar virtual workshop will be held online via Zoom on June 7 at 6:30 p.m.) There will be an opportunity to ask questions, engage in discussion, and provide feedback.
